Ruby was rescued with her sister Opal from a small local farmer.
She was extremely sick with pneumonia and had abscesses that developed in her joints from a systemic infection. We weren’t sure she was going to make it, but with intensive treatment, she did. Ruby is now a sweet and loving girl who loves attention and body rubs.

Claudine was rescued from a stockyard by a Good Samaritan. She was moving slowly, and no one wanted her. Lucky for her and us they called and brought her to us. She has a large mass over her right eye that was evaluated and attached to her cornea. She will need surgery and it unsure if she will have vision in that eye Claudine is an incredibly happy girl. Penny was being raised for a 4H program along with her brother Homer to be sold at the fair. The girl who raised them, raised 3 pigs and sold one at the fair. She was devastated and decided she could not sell Penny and Homer because she loved them and wanted them to live. Penny is a bold but loving girl. Homer is a happy-go-lucky boy who is much more patient than his sister. He always looks like he has a smile on his face. He loves to be scratched his forehead and also loves a good butt scratch. He also loves a nice long soak in a wallow.
Asher is super sweet and will always come over for a snout kiss. He loves attention and will always flop over for a belly rub and some loving. He can usually be found somewhere near Boone although he has also become awfully close to his girl, Georgie.
Georgie was extremely small at just 5 pounds or so when she escaped from a pig farm and traveled over a half of mile through the woods with a lot of predators. Boone is an extremely big boy. He is he was bred to grow so big to produce more meat so quickly that he will most likely have problems with his back and joint as he ages. Boone is in charge of his group and they know it. He loves a good wallow and makes exceptionally large napping holes in the cool, dry dirt where you can often find him.
